**Trinity Academy Grammar**

**Curriculum Tutor (Positions available in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, French)**

**32.5 hours per week, Term time only plus 5 days**

**Scale 2 (Points 3 to 4), Actual starting salary range: £15,773 - £16,058**

Since becoming part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, Trinity Academy Grammar has had a plethora of successes. In February 2023 Ofsted graded the academy as good with outstanding features in leadership and personal development. This followed being awarded the World Class School mark in 2021. The school is committed to providing outstanding pastoral care for its students and has invested significantly in establishing and developing a committed and hardworking pastoral support team, guided by the core values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, which permeate every aspect of school life.

Knowledge or experience of working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential; we believe in getting the right people into our organisation. Training specific to an educational setting can be provided as required.

This position may also be of interest to people who are interested in teaching. As part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust we have close links to the Trinity Institute of Education, which provides numerous routes into the profession.

This position also represents a unique opportunity for anyone who is interested in developing a career in education. Over the last three years all our curriculum tutors have gone on to become teachers or have been promoted into positions within support staff roles.

**What we need**:

- Good numeracy and literacy
- Ability to relate well to children and young people
- Experience of working with, or caring for children or young people of a relevant age
