Busikids is a well known, friendly and professional day nursery who are looking for the right person to compliment their lovely team working in the Penguin rooms where babies aged from 3 months to 2 years are cared for.

The Senior Nursery Nurse is a qualified childcare professional, holding a relevant level 3 qualification at least, with shared responsibility for the day-to-day running of their room. They perform an important role caring for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment, supervising the staff team and imparting their knowledge and skills to others.

They are creative and reflective leaders with the ability to implement new ideas and use a range of strategies to continually improve practice and also support the management team

Key Areas are to:
- Care for and aid the development of all children at all times.
- Ensure ratios of staff to children are always maintained.
- Work in partnership and support the Room Supervisor, Team and with Management.
- Encourage and support team work across the nursery as a whole.
- Liaise closely and professionally with all Parents/Carers.
- Show excellent communication skills being a role model to supervise and support your whole team.

We are currently offering a £500 joining bonus once your probation is completed (terms and conditions apply).

This post is 37.5 hours a week, we work a unique shift system on a 4 weekly rota, of one long day, one short day alternately.

We are happy to negotiate longer days and more hours if required. Overtime can be available. We also ask you to work 1-2 breakfast clubs (starting at 7.30 am) as extra hours each week.
