**Summary**:
As Brand Lead you will lead, develop and drive the execution of brand strategy or multiple brands plans with the objective to maximise market share and revenue growth for Novartis.

**About the Role**:
**Major accountabilities**:

- Leading the Brand team for Haematology (approx. 5 people)
- Lead the marketing mix, operational and customer experience plans that optimise sales, market share and revenue growth for TA Indication (brand / multiple brands) in the short and long term to ensure synergies are realised and customer experience enhanced
- Represent UK with global teams and providing UK insight and contributing to Global strategic decisions related to the TA indication
- Achievement of indication sales targets (brand / multiple brands)
- Lead, align and work with cross-functional project teams relating to the delivery of the TA indication brands / brands strategy and operational plans
- Owns and leads the brand strategy and planning processes in-line with Global/CPO direction, Integrated Product Strategy (IPS) and operational brand plan using insight driven analysis
- Monitors and controls expenditure, in line with agreed budget communicating deviations

**Requirements**:

- Strong marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- People management or cross functional experience / leadership
- Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and in leading a matrix organisation
- Experience of different stages of product life cycle (e.g. launch experience)
- Thorough understanding of the UK healthcare system, the NHS and pathways and how this impacts on the business

**Desirable requirements**:

- Sales experience
- Oncology/Haematology experience

**Location**:
This role is based in the London office in UK on a hybrid basis which is 12 days per month in the office.
