**Vehicle Mechanic/Technician**

**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent

**Location**:Great Yarmouth

**Working Hours**:8:30am - 17:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch
Any overtime as/when required would be paid at time & a half

**Offering a range of benefits, a competitive salary DOE, in-house training, and a friendly and supportive working environment, we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician to join our busy workshop in Great Yarmouth.**

**Role Responsibilities - Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician**:

- Undertaking the repair, servicing and preparation of motor vehicles, including used cars and customer vehicles
- Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed to the customer's satisfaction
- Maintaining accurate, detailed records of work undertaken
- Liaising with customers directly to communicate detailed, technical information in such a way that the customer understands
- Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

**Person Specification**:

- A background in mechanics/as a Vehicle Technician
- Previous experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work
- A strong team player
- Previous MOT Testing experience would be preferred but not essential
- Main Dealer experience would be preferred but is not essential as Manufacturer's and in house training will be provided
- Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills
- A flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently under pressure
