We are seeking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Night Shift Quality Controller (QC) to support our Technical team.

**Responsibilities**

Completing label, bag, temperature and chemical checks

To complete procedural audits in line with the schedule, to define corrective actions and to follow up the close out of actions

To assist in the close out of non-conformances where required

To support in the investigation of incidents of production issues

To support day to day operations

Being present on the shop floor

Maintain paperwork in good order

Traceability exercises

Factory GMP audits

Training & developing shop floor staff with regards to quality focus

Monitor quality, weights and shelf life

General file storing with ease of access of audits

Effectively manage the packing of product against customer specification and to meet loading deadlines

**EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES**

Experience in a Quality or Technical role within the food industry is essential

Ideally previous experience or knowledge of working to BRC and retail customer standards

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all staff members

Highly numeric with strong data and statistical analysis and written reporting skills

Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel

Good multi-tasking skills

Confident, professional and tenacious

You will be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment

**WORKING HOURS**

Sunday to Thursday nights, 22.00pm - 07.00am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.60 per hour
