**Salary**: £27,500 - £30,000
**Working pattern**: Alternate weeks in Chelmsford and Southend Branch
The role:
You will be responsible for managing the creation, delivery, and efficiency of bespoke training programmes to meet the business needs of both Ashley Care and Anglian Care. To act as the key contact for Learning and development within the businesses, working closely with Registered Manages, and Senior Management team to effectively plan and implement training and development strategies. The role will require a full understanding of the different functional areas of the businesses and the training requirements involved. The role requires a proactive approach to long term strategic planning, and short-term adjustments as required to Learning and Development delivery. Responsible for reporting on and managing Ashley Cares and Anglian Cares training sessions, ensuring quality and cost efficiencies are considered and evidenced.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Lead the development of organisational capability through good people management, including the training, development, mentoring and coaching of team members.
- Thinking creatively, challenging the norms, and constructively challenging those around you including those more senior to ensure continuous improvement, commercial astuteness, and inspire the same in employees.
- To assume responsibility for the development and implementation of learning and organisational development courses and projects. Working closely with the workforce and Community lead and Registered Managers and being responsible for managing the creation, delivery, and efficiency of bespoke training programs to meet business needs.
- Ensure the proper assessment, management, and mitigation of risk, including Information governance, Health and Safety and Business Continuity.
- Responsible for recognising a disclosure of a concern from an individual that requires a safeguarding intervention to be made and to take appropriate action.
**Role Specific Accountabilities**:
- Develop assessment systems, including links to individual performance appraisal, to identify learning and development needs and monitor and evaluate learning outcomes, using KPIs and workforce data to help inform strategy to support the Registered Managers to measure individual staff performance.
- To work closely with the Registered Managers to combine professional and specialist knowledge, to provide consultative support in relation to QCF (NVQ) framework and Care Quality Commission and Skills for Care standards and requirements.
- Liaise with Workforce and Community Lead to ensure the onboarding process Is smooth and new staff are booked onto training in a timely manner.
- Assume responsibility for the continued development and delivery of Ashley Cares and Anglian Cares induction programme and assurance of compliance with the Care Certificate implementation.
- To ensure that delivered training meets CQC Regulation 18 -this Regulation ensures that Ashley Care and Anglian Care deploy enough suitably qualified, competent, and experienced staff to enable them to meet all other regulatory requirements.
- Though Evaluation and assessment, measure the effectiveness of training initiatives through pre and post training assessments, surveys, quizzes, skills demonstrations, and performance evaluation.
- Collect and gather feedback from participants, supervisors, and stakeholders to assess the training effectiveness, identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to future training programs.
- Record training dates ensuring the correct dates are added to the electronic staff file, and completion dates are in line with induction process.
- Promote the use of ASPIRE values, behaviours, and where relevant national frameworks as a base for learning and organisational development.

**Key Skills**:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or professional qualification, or similar by experience
- Advanced computer and systems competency, strong ICT skills
- A comprehensive working knowledge and experience of a wide range of models, concepts and diagnostic tools for the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of the learning solutions
- Experience of operating in a framework of externally accredited learning. - Solid experience of external and internal benchmarking practices
- Advanced presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills, and experienced in the design and delivery of training programmes.
**Salary**: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
