**Shift: 4 on 4 off Days**
**Salary: £24,157.44 + £3,000 Allowance**
We are currently recruiting for Operations Controller - Days on a full-time, permanent contract based at our Sheffield site.
**Job responsibilities of a Operations Controller include**:
- Efficiently managing the outbound schedule to ensure collection and delivery times are met.
- Issuing instructions to designated staff to maintain a smooth flow of inbound and outbound work.
- Controlling paperwork for outbound vehicles ensuring the accuracy.
- Being the initial point of contact for all drivers arriving on site.
- Communicating issues to Shift Manager in a timely manner to minimise disruption to the schedule.
- Maintaining good communication with transport providers to ensure late collections and delivery failures are avoided.
**Qualifications** As a Operations Controller you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications**:
- Ability to prioritise work based on scheduling and available resources.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
- Able to work to deadlines
- PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Should have good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to solve problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to network with suppliers, hauliers and customers.
