Weekend Sales Assistant

TR Hayes is the region’s largest family-owned furniture store trading from two fantastic stores near the Centre of Bath. Employing 50 people the business which is over 100 years old continues to flourish and grow.

We are currently recruiting a part time consultant for our curtain department.

Previous experience in curtains/fabrics would be preferred. However, applicants with experience in selling immersive high value products including furniture, bathrooms & kitchens would also be considered.

TR Hayes operate in the middle to upper segment of the market and the preferable person would have at least 1 + years’ experience in retail sales and would be competent to sell and provide (some training will be provided) customer's accurate quotations and prices both in the showroom and in their homes when required. Attention to detail is a vital attribute. A company vehicle is provided when home visits are required.

This role requires a self-motivated, energetic team player with an opened minded approach and willingness to learn.

You will maintain a high standard of personal presentation and always provide a friendly and professional service. Previous experience in a customer facing retailing environment is essential.

Computer literacy is crucial with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
