Live-in Housekeeper/cook

Our client, with a large 12-bedroom residence in Virginia Water, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper/Cook to assist with the smooth running of their busy family home.

For this position it is preferable that you are a fluent French speaker.

Despite the residence being large, not all rooms are used regularly. The family are made up of 2 adults and 2 teenage children as well as their friendly dog.

**Duties include**:

- All aspects of general housekeeping - cleaning, dusting, mopping, and hoovering
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen
- Maintaining stocks of cleaning supplies
- Grocery shopping
- Daily cooking
- Running errands
- Wardrobe management/packing and unpacking
- Occasional child/dog minding whilst the adults travel (weekend trips)
- Fluent French speaker preferred
- Professional and experienced
- Full clean driving licence (car provided for work purposes)
- Clean DBS
- Confident family cook - able to follow recipes
- Energetic, organised, and able to manage time effectively

**Working Days/Hours**:5.5 days per week, Monday - Saturday morning. 8.00am start and finishing at either 6.00pm or 9.00pm depending on whether the family require your assistance during dinner service. If finishing later, a longer break during the day will be given.

**Accommodation**: Separate 1 bedroom house close by to the main residence.

**Salary**:£40,000-45,000 per annum.
