Trainee Accountant

£20,000 - £26,000 + study support

Butler Rose, Public Practice, are delighted to be supporting our client, a highly reputable and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based on the outskirts of Watford to the north, that are keen to appoint a Trainee Accountant to complement the existing team.

Role Requirements
- Draft preparation of year end financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients including LTD Co., sole traders and partnerships
Computations for corporation tax (CT600) and submission to the HMRC
General bookkeeping for clients
Support on audit-based assignments as required by the partners

Person Requirements
- At least 1+ years' experience within practice performing a range of accounting duties
Ideally AAT studying or qualified
Proficient in a range of accounting software which could include XERO, Quickbooks and Sage
