The post holder will assist in the overall clinical service administration along with the
Community Living Well Talking Therapies (IAPT) admin team.

The post holder will assist with front line administration duties as well as conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, training & teaching and project work.

There will also be opportunities to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service - helping to support and deliver group based and outreach interventions.

Work plans will be agreed with and supported by the Administrative Lead and a Qualified Therapist within the service.

1. To assist, under the direct supervision of a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups.
2. To work under supervision with other staff to support the delivery of outreach interventions to community groups and the general public.
3. To assist, under the direct supervision of a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, in the development of a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service, across all settings where care takes place.
4. To attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings.
5. Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients to be reviewed by duty supervisors where necessary.

Teaching, training and supervision
1. In common with all Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, to receive regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines.
2. To develop skills and competencies that assist in the delivery of current duties, once appropriate trainings have been completed.
3. To contribute, under the direct supervision of a Senior PWP, to the training and support of other staff in psychological care.

The post is based in Kensington and Chelsea and the Queens Park and Paddington area of Westminster. The main base for the post is at St Charles Centre for Health and Wellbeing near Ladbroke Grove, with a secondary base in Chelsea at Gertrude Street.
The postholder will be required to work across both sites and in other parts of the catchment area and/or wider service, as necessary including in community centres. The postholder will also be expected to participate in extended hours early and late clinics offered by the service from 8 am to 8 pm.

KEY RESULT AREAS

**Clinical**:

Management, recruitment and service development
1. To assist in the design and implementation of service development projects within the service as required.
2. To attend meetings in which service developments are planned and discussed.
3. The post holder will be required to attend and contribute, where appropriate, to the regular professional meetings of the Community Living Well Talking Therapies (IAPT) Service.

IT & Administrative responsibilities
1. The post holder will input and maintain, appropriate computer and manual clinical records and statistical data and provide this to the Clinical Lead when necessary.
2. To work as part of the administrative team for a proportion of the week,
undertaking all admin duties as required. This includes reception cover, telephone work, appointment booking and monitoring the admin mailbox.
