**About The Role**: Health Care Assistants (or HCA’s as they often referred to) at Practice Plus Group come from all walks of life. You will be a valued member of our team supported by our experienced Day Ward Manager Florence. As a Health Care Assistant you will support the professional staff with the overall care for all patients in the department. This will include welcoming patients, assisting in preparing patients for theatre and accurately monitoring and recording the weight, pulse, temperature and blood pressure of patients.

**About You**: You will have recent experience in a similar environment with the ability to perform ECG’s as part of pre-assessment investigations. An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care would be advantageous but not essential as would phlebotomy skills. Just as important however is your ability to identify risks and alert the appropriate individuals, respond to a demanding environment and your initiative.
