Senior Director, International Tax

**This position is 100% remote within either UK, Germany, France or Benelux.**:
**Your Responsibilities**:
**The Senior Director, International Tax is responsible for the following**:

- ** Planning - Maintain and drive international tax planning efforts in support of the company’s global strategies.**:

- ** M&A - Support M&A due diligence, structuring and financing.**:

- ** Strategic Business Partnering - Regularly interact with and advise senior management within the Operating Companies regarding tax benefits and risks and the interrelationship between operational decisions/direction.**:

- ** US Tax Reporting - Coordinate review of OUS income tax provision computation and related issues for US consolidated financial statement reporting.**:

- ** Local compliance - Ensure local statutory financial statement and tax filing obligations are met via in-house resource or outsource arrangements.**:

- ** International Tax Advisory - Interface with external business partners and tax advisors and proactively monitor pending legislation, assessing potential impact and advising senior/executive management on potential implications.**:

- ** Legal Entity management - Manage the establishment or elimination of legal entities, including maintenance plans and related supporting documentation.**:

- ** Governance Framework - Manage compliance with and refinement of established Tax policies and procedures as set forth in the Tax Manual and other interacting policies such as the Business Change Management Policy.**:

- ** Talent - Attract, hire, retain, organize, develop, manage, recognize and reward a motivated International Tax workforce capable of achieving short
- and long-range business objectives within company policies and procedures.**:
**Your Experience**:
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- ** Be a trusted business partner to Veralto’s operating companies that they can rely on for sound tax advice.**:

- ** Manage projects, balancing between delegation and ‘digging-in’ to the details.**:

- ** Manage a team of 5 International Tax Professionals, supporting them to grow and realize their potential.**:

- ** Demonstrate tax leadership and communication skills within a large, global, complex organization.**:
**Your Attributes**:
**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- ** Tax and/or Finance/Accounting degree/qualification.**:

- ** 10+ years of relevant corporate income tax experience, preferably in the tax department of a medium/large-sized US multi-national company and/or big4.**:

- ** Multiple years of experience in managing complex transactions in a multi-national environment.**:

- ** Very good understanding of International and Domestic tax rules in the covered territories.**:

- ** Good understanding of US tax principles and US tax accounting (current and deferred tax).**:

- ** Experience in managing Tax Audits with local Tax Authorities.**:

- ** Good understanding of principles of indirect taxation.**:
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- ** Establishing and testing compliance with a robust Tax Governance Framework.**:

- ** Transfer pricing and supply chain optimization.**:

- ** Tax technology solutions, automations and transformations.**:
