**Footwear Technologist (Kids Specialist)**

- Based at Lutterworth

We are now recruiting for a Kids Footwear Technologist within our Technical team. This is a new role and will report to the General Technical Manager.

**About the Role**

The Footwear Technologist will be part of the dedicated Tech team and will report to the General Technical Manager. Working within a small team, this role will be hands on and will handle of a range of kids footwear.

**We are looking for Technologist who is**:

- Experienced in kids footwear within the fashion industry
- Knowledgeable in terms of construction, pattern cutting techniques and the fitting process
- Highly knowledgeable about consumer product safety requirements and able to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance
- Strong ability to Risk assess product and understanding testing and performance
- An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment
- Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Driven and results orientated
- Proactive, positive and solutions focused
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail
