Engagement and Membership Lead

A leading company within their field are looking for an Engagement - Membership Lead to join their team based in Wakefield on a 1 year FTC with the potential to go perm after this as the company really value their staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident individual, ideally with sales experience, to develop their skill set in a dynamic environment at a prestigious company. You will work 4 days a week from home and 1 day in the central Wakefield office. You will have worked in Sales or Engagement and Membership previously and will be an excellent communicator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Engagement and Membership lead to join a busy and successful organisation
As an Engagement and Membership Lead you will be taking a leading role in promoting the company, supporting its membership activities and events, providing excellent client focused service to customers.
The role:
- Support senior staff and associates involved in the provision of the company's services which are provided to local authorities, health and other public sector customers.
- Provide efficient, client focused service to customers and potential customers
- Take a lead role in supporting membership activities and events
- Promote the company and its products, identifying opportunities for additional sales
- Identify and share market intelligence and developments through customer and associate contacts
- Attend events as always required and act as ambassador for the company
- Drive the company's membership across the sector and engage with the current membership to increase engagement activity
- Develop and maintain relationships with external clients to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure the CRM system works effectively for the purposes of membership
- Oversee marketing campaigns which encourage new members to join the company
What we are looking for:
- Proven ability in the use of technology, including CRM systems, Word, Excel and databases
- Experience of providing quality services to internal and external customers
- Sales experience, promoting services and products on the telephone, in person and representing the company at conferences and other events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- A highly organised individual with administrative skills, able to work individually as well as part of a team
Location/Benefits: Wakefield with 4 days a week WFH, 28 days annual leave as standard plus bank holidays, 7% pension
