**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
Our Employment Team is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Employment Law Specialist to join us based in our Manchester office.

As an exciting new aspect of our full-service offering, you will be able to help grow our advisory service with the support of the current lead and the partner led team. Over time, as we develop our offering, our aim would be for you become the secondary lead for the overall service as well as being client relationship lead for those clients allocated to you.

**WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE**:
The role will involve working as the primary support for our Employment Advisory Services on our Helpline Service, advising a wide range of clients across all business sectors.

You will be expected to;
- Provide end to end telephone support for the full suite of employment law and ER related issues, ensuring a high standard of service
- Deliver advice on the helpline service to line/general managers, as well as HR professionals and in-house legal counsel
- Run the helpline efficiently and in line with our brand
- Ad-hoc support f the wider team on both contentious and non-contentious matters

**YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE**:
The successful applicant will need the following skills:

- The ability to deliver day-to-day employment advice on all employment issues
- Sound technical understanding of the law
- Good drafting and communication skills
- Demonstrate a commercial and common-sense approach to issues
- The ability to work to deadlines within a challenging environment and to work as part of a team
- Confident, personable, and self-motivated
