**Purpose**

To ensure that the Connex office facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

1. To clean all communal areas, including toilets, reception area, kitchen, stairs and meeting rooms.

2. To clean all offices, ensuring that surfaces are kept clean and that waste bins are emptied on a regular basis.

3. To monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and notify the Office & Facilities Coordinator of items to be re-stocked.

4. To communicate any health and safety or hygiene concerns to the Office & Facilities Coordinator.

5. To attend training courses as required.

6. To comply with Connex's policies and statutory requirements

**1. Essential Qualities**

1.1 A friendly and helpful manner.

1.2 Trustworthy

1.3 Capable of carrying out the physical aspects of the role.

1.4 Able to work on own initiative.

1.5 Able to understand written instructions.

1.6 Prepared to attend training courses and support sessions.

1.7 Must respect confidentiality of client and organisational information.

3.1 We are as flexible as can be over the timing's of each staff members hours, within the constraints imposed by the services that we provide.

The office is located on Buxton Market Place and we have ground floor and first floor offices and meetings rooms as well as bathrooms on each floor level.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.59 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
