Quality Checker

**Job description**

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Quality Checker to join a busy printing and packaging company in Nottingham.

**Quality Checker**:

- You must be analytic and accurate.
- Must have good eye, attention to details.
- Able to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Be an effective communicator and able to work with people at all levels of ability and from different cultures and backgrounds and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
- IT literate.

**Quality Controller Responsibilites**:

- Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
- Measuring, checking and cutting samples and products.
- Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.
- Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics.
- Keeping logs and registers, creating reports.
- Packing items, printing labels, batch inspection of products.

Hours of work are:
The shift patterns are rotating weekly on a 3 shift rota:
6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am Monday to Friday, optional overtime on weekends.

Temp to Perm Permanent contract after 12 weeks.
