Transport Administrator

Our Client a UK leading Logistics and Distribution Business are currently looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team in Coleford, Gloucestershire. This is a full-time role on permanent contract.

**The role**
- Utilising the Transport Management System to ensure that the scheduling of vehicles is carried out efficiently.
- Produce a daily transport plan that is both practical and achievable ensuring maximum profitability.
- Daily execution of plan, ensuring all deliveries and collections are met.
- Managing driver’s hours and infringements.
- Liaise closely with Warehouse teams to achieve the most efficient loading schedule.

**Hours**

Sunday to Thursday - 1800 to 03.00 or 2100 to 06.00 with possible shift rotation

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working in or alongside a Transport Team.
- Good general PC skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD
- Able to work under pressure in a time critical environment.
- Own transport or access to transport is essential as public transport may not run to and from this site at these times.

**Pay**:
£ 11.99 p/h - 30 mins unpaid break - Paid weekly.
