Colposcopy Coordinator

A new and exciting post has arisen within the Maternity and Gynaecology Team. A colposcopy coordinator position combines some elements of administrative and secretarial roles, and more specifically involves coordinating data collection and validation, as well as responding to data requests from Public Health England as part of the colposcopy quality assurance service.

Strong organisational skills and the ability of the post holder to work under pressure is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed between the colposcopy coordinator with the consultants, members of the clinical team and other support staff both within the organisation and other external bodies.

The post holder will work alongside other medical secretarial staff, consultants and their teams as required.

You will need to be an enthusiastic and motivated team player with good problem solving skills. You will require high levels of tact, diplomacy with the ability to prioritise your own workload to enable day to day management.
