**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to achieve optimal results.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.
- Conduct regular quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimise machining processes and improve efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist preferred, with a focus on CNC milling and turning.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Extensive knowledge of CNC machining principles, tooling, and machining techniques.
- Knowledge of the following machines highly desirable with training available: Turning: Mazak (Mazatrol & Nexus) & CMZ (Fanuc); Milling: Hurco (WinMax), XYZ (Prototrak & Siemens);
- Experience with programming and setting up CNC machines using CAM software; OneCnc & Hypermill. is highly desirable with training available.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
