- February 14, 2023Simple Recruitment are delighted to being working with our client, based in Warminster, who are looking for a Machine Operative to join the team on a permanent basis.

**The Job**:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Machine Operative for the BOBST Folder Gluer Machines will ensure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with the necessary materials and are well maintained.

Key duties for this role will include:
Striving to improve production and quality, ensuring KPIs are monitored and targets achieved
- Maintaining a clear understands of various product ranges and quality control requirements
- Leading and supervising machine operation, communicating with machine teams and counterparts
- Delivering shift briefs and shift handovers
- Maintaining and calibrating machine and related devices
- Leading and motivating the team to achieve operational success
- Working to instil a culture of continuous improvement
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

**The Salary**:
£31,638.75

**The Hours**:
Monday to Friday - rotating shifts. 6.00am to 2.00pm and 9.45am to 6.00pm (41.25 hours per week)

**About You**:
You will have proven management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proactive approach and commitment to team development. You will possess strong people and performance management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. You will have a relevant manufacturing and engineering degree or equivalent, and management/supervisor training certificates. Experience of Kaizen/A3 (continuous improvement and problem solving) is also needed.
