Following on from the promotion of previous post holders we are looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses who are looking for a new challenge to take on the role ofClinical Team Leaderon our PICU ward at Riverside Centre, Hillingdon. Colne Ward (male PICU) is an 8 bedded ward which is based at Riverside Centre in the borough ofHillingdonwith good transport links.

As a Clinical Team Lead you will form an integral part of the MDT and be responsible for supporting the Ward manager to lead a dedicated team of registered and unregistered staff by having an active role in developing, monitoring and maintaining care standards; through role modelling, clear decision making and demonstrating your highly developed clinical skills.
In addition to the above you will be expected to adopt the “Bleep Holder Role” as required where you will act as the Unit Coordinator.

- We are committed toempowering our service users and to allow our staff more time to do what they love, NURSING. We have weekly Communal Cooking where apatient will cook for the other patients and staffand they will all eat this together improving relations between everyone and creating a warm, friendly environment.
- The Ward have an outdoor gym which have been created following feedbacks from our service users. The aim is improving therapeutic engagement and physical health of our service users on the ward and preparing them in the recovery process for community integration.
- Colne Ward recently had a CQC visit and no recommendation was required.
- Colne ward is currently having a new built Extra Care Area with state of the art equipment.
