Cutter
Based at the NaughtOne factory in Elland, we are looking for an experienced cutter who will be responsible for the cutting of a wide range of materials, including fabric & leather for the upholstery of furniture.
This can include chairs, stools, pods & booths and will involve laying up material and marking out the required templated cut size to the highest standard.
We offer full training and will bring you up to speed on our product portfolio but we are looking for someone with the following skills & capabilities:
- Educated to GCSE standard in both Maths & English
- Verifies that fabric and template correspond to the order
- Experience of cutting a wide range of materials ready for upholstery
- Previous experience of working in cutting in a manufacturing setting (minimum 5 years)
- Ability to adopt best working practices to achieve accuracy and high standards of quality in cutting
- Working and co-operating in a team environment to achieve daily targets
- High quality of work in order to meet a fast-paced production delivery schedule.
- Ensuring all cut pieces is quality checked to a high standard.
- Experience in the use industrial cutting devices and job specific tools
- Quality driven and a fine eye for detail
- Punctual & reliable
- Flexible in all aspects of work
- Knowledge / appreciation of H&S requirements in a production / factory environment

Reporting to the Factory Manager, this is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The working hours are Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm & Friday, 7am - 1pm
