**Job Summary**:
The construction industry as a whole is continuously striving to increase its sustainability credentials. This involves using renewable and recyclable materials on building projects to reduce energy consumption and toxic waste. The primary goal of this initiative is to decrease the industry’s impact on the environment by utilizing sustainable construction procedures, practicing energy efficiency, and harnessing green technology.

As a supplier to the concrete and cementitious manufacturing industries, Master Builders Solutions strives to deliver chemical solutions that help our customers meet the challenges that come from the sustainability agenda. This includes the usage of increasingly difficult aggregate resources, shortages of secondary cementitious materials and a fundamental change in the cement industry that is moving to lower clinker content in its production processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage our Technical & Marketing staff and support our Commercial Team across UK & Ireland. We strive to find an individual who can also embrace this specific sustainability challenge as it evolves.

**Experience**:

- You must already have a thorough knowledge of the concrete manufacturing industries, preferably with a formal qualification in concrete technology.
- You must have strong communication skills allowing a technical solution to be presented in an empathetic manner to an audience that may not be overly technical.
- Whilst the role can be based from home, anywhere across UK & Ireland, this role will inevitably require significant travel across these countries. Thus, requiring strong planning skills to be cost effective in the role.
- The individual will be encouraged to join and support the relevant industry committees and work groups.
