**SAFEGUARDING ADMINISTRATOR**

**Part Time : 15 hours (3 days) per week**

**9.30am to 2.30pm : Term Time Only**

**£11.75 per hour : £8,000 actual gross p.a. (£22,666 FTE gross p.a.)**

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about keeping Children and Young People safe, promoting their welfare and making a positive difference in the lives of young people. As Safeguarding Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Lead Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the effective implementation of our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure our Children and Young people are protected from harm both in and out of school.

You will be responsible for the day to day student safeguarding management system and provide general administration support for the safeguarding team.

You will have strong administration experience and enjoy a busy and varied workload. You will have competent IT skills and be able to work accurately and to deadlines, communicating effectively with staff at all levels. The ability to work confidentially and remain calm in a busy environment is essential.

Valence School is a KCC Foundation residential and day Special School for children and young people with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and associated learning and communication difficulties. We are part of the Kent Special Educational Needs Trust (KsENT)
