Yard Labourer

Are you practical, flexible, self-motivated and willing to work outside in all weathers? Do you have hands-on skills acquired at work such as operating basic maintenance equipment? Looking for a job with plenty of variety? As **Yard Labourer** at our **Knowl Hill depot, near Maidenhead**, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining containers for the Special Events division and general upkeep of the depot yard (no electrical or major building work). We're offering a **permanent contract, weekly pay rate of around £550 (£12.24 per hour) and a host of benefits**, including:

**About the Yard Labourer role**
Typical duties will include:

- Washing wheeled containers using a high pressure washer
- Carrying out weekly stock takes of all bins and containers, including cleaning and repairs
- Acting as a Driver's Mate when required
- Assisting with bin loading/unloading
- Vehicle washing
- Ensuring that the grounds are tidy

**What we're looking for in our Yard Labourer**
- Ideally, you have a forklift licence (we will train you up if not)
- You're competent at operating maintenance equipment safely, e.g. pressure washer
- Strong team worker with ability to work on own initiative
- Preferably, a full UK driving licence (own transport is essential due to site location).

**Working hours**:45 hours per week - 5.30am-3.30pm
