They are a one stop shop innovative solution for waste and recycling requirements. Protecting the environment is the heart of the business and they ensure they promote a safe and healthy community for current and future generation.

We are now supporting their recruitment drive for a driven Transport Planner to join their growing team in Melton. The Transport Planner will look at ways to improve and manage transport systems at local, regional, and national areas. As a Transport Planner you'll work closely with the Transport Manager and team on policies, projects and plans relating to all kinds of transport systems.
- Efficiently plan and optimise routes for timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Considering factors like traffic patterns, road conditions, and collection time windows.
- Ensuring adherence to local, regional, and national transportation regulations.
- Managing documentation related to licenses, permits, and certifications.
- Monitoring vehicle inspections, emissions, and other compliance requirements.
- Collaborating with drivers to prevent overloading and maintain safety standards.
- Ensuring vehicles are weighed at the end of each shift.
- Maintaining good communication between drivers and clients.
- Managing bookings and responding to inquiries from stakeholders.

**Requirements of the role.**
- Experience route planning within the waste or construction industry - (Advantageous)
- Good knowledge or Transport regulations.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office) etc.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.

**Salary**: Up to £34,000.00 per year

- Transport Planning: 3 years (preferred)
