KPJ Group are looking for a **Welder/Fabricator** to join a specialist in hydrogen powered business solutions based in **Rochdale**. This is family run business with over half a century of industry experience.

**What’s on offer?**
- £15.00 an hour
- Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pM/Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm
- Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)

**What will you be doing as a Welder/Fabricator?**
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Selecting and setting up welding equipment, such as MIG and TIG welders, based on the job requirements.
- Preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to be welded.
- Welding metal parts together using MIG and TIG welding techniques, while ensuring quality and accuracy of welds.
- Inspecting welds to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Performing routine maintenance on welding equipment and ensuring it is kept in good working condition.
- Operating other fabrication equipment, such as drill presses, grinders, and saws, as needed.
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other production staff to develop and refine welding processes and techniques.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.

**What do you need?**
- Experience in both MIG and TIG welding
- Previous experience as a fabricator
- An understanding of how to read technical engineering drawings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
