**School Outreach Worker**

Are you an experienced teacher who would be keen to take on a different role where you will still work closely with students and schools but not need to teach (or plan, or mark, or manage behaviour..the list goes on)?

Would you be keen to work with children at risk from exclusion from mainstream schooling and help them back to enjoying their education?

Tradewind are working in partnership with a fantastic Multi Academy Trust who are looking to appoint several Outreach Workers starting in September

**Outreach Worker role - suitable for all qualified and experienced teachers**

**The Outreach Worker role**:
Working with a highly successful Leicestershire SEN School you will work a location within Leicestershire where you will work with students, their families and schools in order to support them through a difficult part of their life with the end goal being to keep them in mainstream education. This is a highly rewarding role that suits teachers who still have that passion for education and watching young people achieve but are keen on some time out of the day to rigours of class teaching

**Requirements for this post**:

- Qualified Teacher status and recent teaching experience in any key stage
- A passion for supporting disaffected students and helping them to find enjoyment in education

If you have been looking for a role in education which is not teaching but still involves direct contact with students and schools, then this excellent role is what you have been looking for
