P6 Project Planner

As a P6 Project Planner, you will be an integral part of our project management team, responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring complex defence projects using Primavera P6 software. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects, adherence to timelines, and efficient allocation of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project data, identify dependencies, and establish realistic timelines.
- Analyze project risks, constraints, and opportunities, providing recommendations to optimize project plans.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Generate and present detailed project reports, highlighting variances and proposing corrective actions.
- Participate in project review meetings, offering insights and expertise to enhance project performance.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in project management methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Planner, preferably within the defence industry or similar industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 software for project scheduling and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
