Play Away Totton Nursery is purpose-built, spacious and has large feature windows which floods the rooms with natural light. It has an imaginatively designed outdoor space which enables the children to feel inspired as they learn and grow. We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our team as Bank Staff and provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.

**Nursery Bank Staff roles and responsibilities include**:

- Assist room leader and other staff members in providing the highest standard of compliance, care and education for children, and effectively carry out daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
- Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Room Leader and other staff members in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.
- Always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements
- Contribute ideas to planning with stimulating activities, ensuring the children receive high quality of learning and development.
- Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

**Nursery Bank Staff requirements and skills**:

- Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification**:

- Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years**:
