We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 13,500 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

**About The Role**:

As a Playground Coordinator you will be supporting disabled young people and their families by coordinating the delivery of play services at the Lady Allen Playground. This is a great opportunity to develop your existing skills in a rewarding role and gain a strong sense of achievement.

**The role involves**:

- Coordinating and delivering a high quality play service for disabled children and their families.
- Managing a flexible sessional workforce.
- Supporting the manager and acting as manager in their absence
- A requirement to work unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.
- A requirement to work from a second playground site (Chelsea Playground) on occasion
- Being the sole manager on site during play sessions
- A dynamic work environment
- Using ICT skills to effectively and efficiently complete work
- Health and safety and safeguarding principles**
This role is from Monday-Saturday, and includes weekends and early evenings.

The role is full time -36 hours a week.

- Knowledgeable about disabilities and how these affect children, young people, and their families
- Able to think on their feet and confidently use their initiative
- Able to calmly and efficiently problem solve
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks across a range of disciplines.
- Excellent range of communication skills to be able to work with children, young people, staff, parents, and other professionals
- Energetic and willing to learn and grow and have fun
- Creativity - in order to enhance and develop the service
