The Finance Business Partner will provide accurate and timely financial information. Provide support to the Business Unit Manager to assist with the effective running of the business unit. They are required to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Operational staff within their BU.

You will manage a team of three administrative assistants. You will possess excellent communication skills, have strong commercial awareness, and be able to work in a fast pacedfast-paced environment. You will directly report to the BUGM and indirectly report in tointo the Perimeter Financial Controller nce Director providing monthly reports and management accounts.

**Key objectives**:

- Responsible for the finance and control of the boththe entire BU’s
- Finance control of the ongoing projects and guiding the project managers in their profit control.
- Advise and support the Business Unit Manager and operational staff by providing and interpreting analytical information to enable effective decision making
- Provide support in ensuring that the rules, principlesprinciples, and the internal control requirements of the Group are met
- Ensuring the Business Units meets all its reporting obligations

**Technical skills and experience**:

- Ability to translate financial analysis in tointo clear strategic objectives
- Friendly and approachable manner, able to build and sustain relationships based on trust at all levels
- An eye for detail, focused on quality and accuracy, within a in a face paced environment, without compromising deadlines.
- Ability to use sound judgement to ensure the appropriate messages are delivered.
- Strong financial skills applied in a project costing context
- Ability to analyse and interpret variances
- Good knowledge of basic accounting functions such as AP, AR, Timesheets
- Cash Management
- Strong IT skills in particular, Microsoft Excel, PowerPointPowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of SAP or Microsoft Dynamics with be Oracle preferable
- Able to plan and deliver projects within agreed timeframes

- A self-starter who can work on their own initiative but also be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Travelling between three Analytical units in Manchester, Coventry and Rochester on an ad hoc basis
