Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a **Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant** to be part of the team in Antonine House Care Home. Antonine House is a luxury private care home in the popular town of Bearsden. It is among the country’s finest, providing nursing and dementia care at its best and surpassing national care standards.

Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career.

**Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include**:

- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
- Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
- Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

**Salary**: £10.50 + overtime rates + benefits
