SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Manchester City Centre

**Salary**: £40,000 - £50,000
My client are a social media, marketing, and licensing group focused on making social simple and taking creative content to the next level. They own huge media brands, license amazing content to the world's biggest media companies and grow communities for someof the UK's best-known consumer organisations.
They are a creative, media and social agency, specialises in community management, social strategy, and media amplification. Who have grown and managed some of the UK's biggest media brands and their team is jam-packed with the expertise to do that for otherbrands too. Their commercial team is there to connect that great work with brands, agencies, and organisations of all sizes.
As a part of the social team, you will play an important role within the agency side of the business. We are looking for someone who is analytical and has a clear understanding of how social media can help our clients reach their desired business objectives.
You will support the strategy team to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for current and potential future clients. Staying up-to-date with the most recent industry changes and trends will be a huge part of this role.
Objectives of this Role:

- Lead organic content planning, scheduling, and execution for our clients across all social
media platforms
- Support the strategy team with the development and implementation of social media
strategies
- Stay up-to-date and ahead of the curve in regards to all things social to identify new
opportunities for our clients
- Manage workloads for themselves and more junior team members to ensure deadlines are
met
- Exhibit excellent attention-to-detail when delivering and reviewing social assets and copy
- Work closely with the creative team, briefing in assets and ensuring they are optimised for
social distribution and delivered to the highest possible creative standards
- Lead daily reactive and monthly content ideation for our clients, ensuring they are in line with
the strategy and current best practices
- Analyse and report on performance across all channels at weekly, monthly and quarterly
intervals
- Monitor competitor activity regularly
- Assist in training and developing junior members of the team
Necessary skills:

- 3+ years of social media management
Desired skills:

- Previous experience working in a social media agency
