We are offering a secondment opportunity in our Respite Service in Dundee for a six-month fixed term period. The role will be to assist the Registered Manager, offering direct practice support and leadership to a small team of practitioners.

With a focus on development, practice guidance and creativity, we are looking for someone who has developed skills within the service they currently work in that they feel could transfer into the Respite service.

The organisation will offer you support and training, with the opportunity to gain a PDA in Health and Social Care Supervision.

We recognise that the role will be new within the current structure, therefore support will be available from both the Registered Manager and Head of Operations

**This role could be for you if**:

- You have experience with working within a flexible team within a social care setting
- You can be flexible
- able to work days, evenings, and weekends
- You have experience of supporting culture change in the work environment
- You have strong IT and office organisation skills
- You have excellent knowledge and experience of person-centred practice
- You have the ability to coach and mentor staff
- You can challenge poor or unsafe practice and to champion good practice and person-centred support for the individuals’ using services.
- You have excellent communication skills to relay complex and challenging information
- You hold a qualification equivalent to an SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 7
