Fitters Mate

Entry Group are recruiting two Fitters Mates to join our fast expanding company based in Plymouth serving the South West.

You will also be required to assist with the following duties

Assemble, install, test and maintain doors and roller shutters, sectionals and personnel doors using hand tools and power tools.

Diagnose door/component failure using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Ensure all relevant documentation and certification is administered correctly and that Company and Client policies and procedures are adhered to correctly.

Perform physically demanding tasks, such as moving and lifting heavy objects.

Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment.

Work from ladders, scaffolds and powered access to install maintain roller shutters, sectionals and personnel doors.

Product training can be provided

Clean UK Driving License

**Desirable (not essential but may be an advantage)**:
Mechanical experience

Industry experience would be advantageous but not essential

You must be capable of working under your own initiative. Competent in carrying out verbal instructions, performing physical tasks including moving and lifting heavy objects. Must be willing to work on call out rota and be flexible with working overtime as the business requires.

Working hours 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

Overtime is available on a weekly basis and overtime rates are paid accordingly

28 Days paid holiday inclusive of statutory
