Job Responsibilities:

- Equipment Preparation: As a paint sprayer, your role involves setting up the necessary painting equipment for each task.
- Colour Mixing: Skillfully mix paints to achieve the precise color and consistency required.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of paint supplies and equipment inventory.
- Safety Procedures: Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications are not essential but could be advantageous
- Relevant Work Experience: Experience in automotive repair or manufacturing is beneficial.
- BTEC Certificate/Diploma in Vehicle Technology (Levels 1, 2, and 3).
- City and Guilds Entry Level Award in Vehicle Systems and Body and Paint Maintenance.
- City and Guilds Certificate/Diploma in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations.
- Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) awards in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations (Refinishing Levels 1, 2, and 3).

Essential Skills:

- Attention to Detail: Attain a high-quality paint finish through precision and attention to detail.
- Concentration: Maintain focus during hand-spraying tasks, often requiring extended periods of concentration.
- Proficiency in Panel Straightening and Filling, Body Alignment, Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim work (M.E.T), Priming, Masking, and cleaning the vehicle ready for paint, Panel, MET/Strip & Fit, and Smart Repairs.
- Good understanding of Bodyshop procedures.
- Punctuality and experience are vital.
- Possession of a full driving license.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed and stock levels.

Day-to-Day Duties:

- Complete assigned work promptly, economically, and up to company standards.
- Inform the Controller if additional work is needed on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authorization.
- Maintain a high level of competence in your work.
- Uphold the Company's professional image and service quality when interacting with customers.
- Operate equipment and perform duties safely.
- Keep equipment, protective gear, and work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
- Perform any other duties as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
