We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our supportive and welcoming team of dedicated military and civilian healthcare professionals and Administrative staff working at Bovington Camp in Dorset.

**Job description**:
As the Administrative Assistant Receptionist, you will have a major impact in promoting a positive image of the Medical Facility to patients and other users.

**Person specification**:
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Delivering medical facility reception functions and administration support to all clinicians as directed by the practice manager and under the supervision of the Administrative Officer (AO).

Utilising interpersonal skills to act as the initial point of contact for patients and/or accompanying relatives and other visitors to the medical facility.

Undertaking required administrative action on receipt of a new referral to the medical facility.

Liaising with patients, Medical Officers and other medical treatment facilities to ensure correct patient contact details and dealing with any queries.

Utilising Information Technology (IT) skills in order to meet the administration requirements of the medical facility as per direction from the Practice Manager.
