Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a teacher of Science to join one of our thriving secondary schools in the Durham area from January 2023.

Applications are sought from an inspirational secondary school Science teacher to join an innovative department within a highly successful, supportive, and dynamic school. The school is considered as ‘good’ by Ofsted and students from this school are foundto be highly engaged in their learning. The secondary school is located within the Durham area and is easily accessible via car as well as by a number of public transport links. The school has found an increased number of students choosing Sciences as GCSEand A-Level options, hence creating this opportunity.
- Full-time Science teacher
- Required from January 2023 - Easter 2023
- Paid in line with teaching scale - £28,000-£43,685
- Teaching pupils aged 11-16 (KS3 and KS4 level)

To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:

- UK Recognised Qualified Teacher Status (**QTS**)
- Experience teaching Science to GCSE level
- Child workforce only DBS (we can help you apply)
- Appropriate references
