On behalf of a secondary school located in Walthamstow, Protocol Education are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic practitioner to support students during teaching time.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1 with selected students, and support small groups both in mainstream classes and in the inclusion area via intervention sessions.

This is the ideal role for graduates who are considering a career in teaching, learning support assistant position is a good way to gain classroom experience and decide if education is right for you.

This SEN Teaching Assistant post will give you excellent paid experience so that by the end of the academic year, should you wish to do so, you will be ready to embark upon a teacher-training qualification.

**SEN Teaching Assistant requirements**:

- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Competent ICT skills
- Be positive and creative in meeting the needs of the students and enhancing their outcomes
- Be able to work on your own as well as part of a team
