Nursery Room Leader

VD Recruitment has partnered with a leading group of independent Montessori Nurseries & Preschools in West London. We are currently recruiting for a Room Leader -Baby Room for their nursery in Hanwell.

Salary Offered -£21,500 to £24,000 based on experience+Benefits

We are looking for passionate Room Leader who loves working for the Baby Room. You will be leading this beautiful room with 12-15 babies.

You will be joining a 80 place ‘Good’ Ofsted Rated nursery at Hanwell W7 location. This is a full time permanent role with 40 hours/week working with rotating early, in between and late shifts between 7.30am to 6.30pm

Duties & Responsibilities for the Room Leader -Baby Room
- Lead the baby room of 12-15 babies and 3-4 staff members reporting
- To support children’s learning using Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and parental aspirations
- Planning, observing and assessing children in your care
- Record keeping
- Assisting with meals/ snack times
- Ensuring health and safety/ safeguarding standards are met
- Interacting with parents and updating them on child's progress
- Supervising staff
- Liaising with external professionals

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required for the Baby Room Leader:

- Level 3 in Childcare & Education
- Good sound knowledge of the EYFS
- Experience in a nursery setting
- First Aid qualified
- Key Person experience
- Good written and communication skills
