We are seeking a Transport Planner to join my clients team. The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery of goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the smooth planning for day to day operations
- Giving highest standards of customer service to clients and customers.
- Upload and ensure all planning schedules is processed through the operations system
- Working with the fleet department inspecting, servicing all vehicles across the fleet to ensure they met the requirements.
- Ensuring Health and safety is adhered to at all times in relation to the company policies.
- Working with the drivers to ensure safety at all times while on duty.,
- Tracking and planning movement across UK and ROI

Qualifications:

- Experience within a similar environment within transport administration and planning
- Experience with Transport management systems is desirable not essential
- Experience with Computer packages etc Microsoft is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of geographical areas for UK and ROI
- Excellent teamwork and understanding of driver regulations
