Job Title: Full-Time Delivery Driver

Location: Fruit & Vegetable Market, Team Valley, Gateshead

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (5 days per week), starting at 4:00 a.m.

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year

We are a leading secondary wholesale supplier operating from the bustling Fruit & Vegetable Market on the Team Valley in Gateshead. Specializing in daily provisions, we cater to a diverse clientele including hotels, pubs, restaurants, cafes, and schools across the North East.

As a Full-Time Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of our products to our valued customers. The position involves early morning starts at 4:00 a.m., with typical working hours finishing in the early afternoon.

**Responsibilities**:
1. _On-Time Delivery:_
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.
- Adhere to the daily delivery schedule.

2. _Loading and Unloading:_
- Pick and load orders onto the delivery van accurately.
- Handle a degree of heavy lifting as part of daily duties.

3. _Precision and Attention to Detail:_
- Minimize mistakes by double-checking orders before delivery.
- Rectify any errors promptly.

4. _Customer Interaction:_
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Represent our company positively during customer interactions.

5. _Requirements:_
- Fit and healthy, capable of heavy lifting.
- Clean driving license for insurance purposes.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
