Precision Grinder

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain grinding machines to grind metal workpieces according to specifications
- Set up and adjust grinding machines to achieve desired results
- Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to perform precision grinding tasks
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and make adjustments
- Experience working with sheet metal is preferred
- Familiarity with tooling, assembly, fabrication, and welding processes is a plus
- Proficient in the use of hand tools for grinding tasks

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Safety is our top priority, and all necessary personal protective equipment will be provided.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £16.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
