Cctv Operative

Ever thought of working with Local Councils and the Police in driving down crime and disorder in your town? Interested? We are looking for a Casual CCTV Operative for a 16 hour contract to work in Newquay Town Council’s CCTV Service based in Newquay.

The main duties are: - To monitor CCTV images captured by the system and control the system both proactively and reactively. To ensure the system is working correctly and to report and record any maintenance issues. To respond effectively to incidents on-going. To maintain the daily occurrence incident logs. To liaise with the Police, Newquay and St. Austell Town Shopwatch and Pubwatch groups via telephone and/or radio. To deal with requests for evidence and interrogate the system to produce evidential packages where required.

Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays on a shift pattern.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From £25,054.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- NEWQUAY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- SIA (preferred)
