To ensure the Own Brands function continues to be fully supported, we need to recruit a Quality Control Officer to support the Product Manager to be responsible for product safety, reliability and performance to expectations. You will ensure that technical information is understood by our Category and Service departments and work within the parameters of the Compliance function. This is a newly scoped role and therefore offers a great opportunity for a Quality Control Officer to really make their make and shape the processes and framework in collaboration with the Product Manager.

We fully support a hybrid working model and are happy to discuss a working pattern that suits your need's but we do expect travel to our Bristol office at least once a week.

**What will I be doing as a Quality Control Officer?**
- Responsible for the Technical performance & New Product Introduction of own brand within the Appliance category
- Working with Sourcing teams and factories to ensure technical information is robust and understood
- Ensure products are Robust, Sustainable and meet customer expectations.
- Support the investigation of Returns and Repairs. Use of corrective actions to document improvements and reduce the end-to-end cost to the business
- Keep abreast of future changes in legislation and developments in product design to ensure we can capitalize on future trends.
- Provide forensic level analysis on Customer complaints, supporting the business on any potential claims

- Experience of working in an engineering environment
- Working knowledge of Product Standards
- Development of technical specifications
- Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Materials and Manufacturing processes
