Our client is seeking a Chauffeur to work between their residence in Oxfordshire, Wallingford, and the family office in Central London.

**Driving duties include**:

- Driving the adult principals to meetings, appointments, and social engagements
- School runs for one teenager, and occasional driving for two adult children
- Occasional airport runs
- Driving company directors when required by the business
- Mapping out of driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient and comfortable journey
- Driving knowledge of London is desirable
- Competent with in-car technology such as in-car sat nav, bluetooth phone connection and Waze/Google Maps
- Opening of doors for the clients and guests
- Assist with loading and unloading their luggage
- Listen and be aware of traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road works, as needed
- Driving in London will generally be Tues - Thurs (maximum). This will include some late nights and early mornings, usually arranged in advance

**Car Maintenance/Administration**:

- Washing and cleaning of the exterior and interior of prestige vehicles (applicable to all vehicles, however, Mercedes S Class will be main vehicle)
- Basic maintenance checks and upkeep of vehicles including daily vehicle checks and refuelling, such as: washer fluid refilling, battery checks, oil level checks and tyre checks
- Managing a fleet of 10-15 cars (including some motorbikes)
- Booking services and MOTs (and other car appointments)
- Monitoring renewal of taxes
- Keeping all documentation in current filing system
- Cleaning of garage, and car washing area
- This work is expected to be done on Mon & Fri of the week in the country estate
- Administration is expected to be completed whilst on standby Tues - Thurs
- The role will include access to desk space during this time

**Other Duties**:

- Assist the family with errands such as collecting dry cleaning, sending parcels at the post office, and taking pets for grooming/vet appointments
- Supporting the House Manager and Housekeepers with household tasks such as basic DIY and maintenance at the residence, and when family are away

**General Information/Preferred Attributes**:

- They must be happy to work to high standards, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working as part of a wider household team
- Must have a proven track record in private households (or professional driving), have no points on their licence, and will be looking for a long-term role
- Smart, presentable, not overly formal

The family take extended holidays throughout the year, for 2-3 weeks at a time including Christmas, Easter, and Summer. Longer holidays (over 2-3 days) should be requested when the family are away.
- 40 hours per week with some flexibility
- Mon - Fri most weeks, with some weekend work (normally only one day if ever required)

**Salary**: Circa £42,000 per annum
