**TRAINEE PLANNER (Modern Apprenticeship)**

**Seaway7** are currently looking for a motivated person to join the Planning Department as a **Trainee Planner (Modern Apprenticeship)**. This is a full-time, staff role, to be located within our **Westhill **offices.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Supporting the Planning and Scheduling functions to assist our project teams worldwide by being an active participant of the Project Team
- Developing key capabilities and skills related to Planning and Scheduling of small, medium, and large projects using a variety of software including Primavera and Microsoft Projects
- Building an understanding of the different project functions through the close liaison with the Contract Management, Document Control, Engineering and Supply Chain Management Departments
- Gaining a deeper insight into some of some key aspects related to Commercial and Project Support functions

**WHAT YOU WILL GAIN**

SCQF Level 8 in Project Management via the Virtual Learning Academy (VLA)

Learners are supported by a VLA learning consultant who will guide and support them through their learning journey and help them build their portfolio of evidence.

The Diploma in Project Management will be awarded after successful completion of a selection of Mandatory and Optional SVQ units, relevant work experience and an additional enhancement unit. This qualification is anticipated to take around 18 months.

- Higher qualification in English (minimum Grade C)
- Present yourself in a professional manner appropriate to the role
- Comfortable in articulating your views, opinions, and logic, in comprehensive manner
- Able to solve puzzles and issues as part of a team
- Work confidently with the IT equipment provided
- Produce work of presentable quality
- Communicate with others effectively
- Take initiative and personal responsibility
